The Department of Education (ED) released the Top 10 Audit Findings during the 2021 FSA Annual Conference. The findings have been pretty consistent the last several years with very little change in the types of findings found during the audit process.

Remember, because of the timing of your next audit and when a Corrective Action Plan was implemented, it may be working correctly now, but you could still have a repeat finding. You will need to indicate that is what occurred in your next audit response.

FAME is always available to help you respond to your audit findings.
