In this announcement ED’s Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) highlights the information provided to the Negotiated Rulemaking (Neg Reg) Committee in preparation for the meeting held September 9-11, 2013. This information may be found via the OPE’s Higher Education Negotiated Rulemaking 2013-2014 – Gainful Employment Web page. It includes the link to draft regulations on the topic of Gainful Employment (GE). With the information is provided a comparison of the prior GE regulations and the proposed regulations and a high-level analysis of GE data. The Neg Reg Committee is scheduled to meet again October 21-23, 2013.
